1. Participant Requirements

1.1 Participants must be 18 years old and above.
1.2 Participants must be in good physical health and have prior hiking experience (preferably a Level 3–4 difficulty hike).
1.3 Any existing medical conditions (e.g., asthma, heart issues, injuries) must be declared upon registration.
1.4 The organiser reserves the right to deny participation if a participant is deemed unfit for the hike.

2. Registration & Payment

2.1 Rates are based on 1 guide : 7 hikers. Additional charges apply for groups below 7 hikers and for foreign participants.
2.2 A deposit (non-refundable) is required to secure a slot.
2.3 Full payment must be made at least 30 days before the event date.
2.4 Slots are confirmed only after full payment is received.
2.5 Failure to make payment by the due date may result in automatic cancellation of your participation.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Participant cancellation:

    • More than 30 days before event: 50% refund.
    • Less than 30 days before event: No refund.
    • Replacement participant is not allowed.

3.2 Organiser cancellation:
If the organiser cancels the event due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, participants may:

    • Receive a full refund, OR
    • Transfer the booking to a new date

4. Weather & Environmental Conditions

4.1 Hiking activities are weather-dependent.
4.2 The organiser reserves the right to postpone, alter, or cancel the hike if weather conditions threaten participant safety (e.g., heavy rain, thunderstorms, landslides).
4.3 No refunds will be provided once the hike has started and must be stopped due to unsafe conditions.

5. Safety, Conduct & Responsibilities

5.1 Participants must follow all instructions from guides, marshals, and organisers.
5.2 Participants must stay with the group and are not allowed to leave the trail without permission.
5.3 Any behaviour that endangers the group (e.g., refusing instructions, reckless actions) may result in removal from the hike.
5.4 The organiser is not responsible for loss of personal belongings during the trip.

6. Equipment & Gear

6.1 Participants are responsible for bringing their own required equipment (e.g., hiking shoes, headlights, water supply, gloves, raincoat).
6.2 Participants may be denied participation if they arrive without mandatory safety gear.
6.3 Gear rental (if provided) must be returned in the condition it was given.

7. Liability & Risk Awareness

7.1 Hiking in mountain terrain carries inherent risks, including but not limited to: slips, falls, injuries, weather changes, wildlife encounters.
7.2 By registering, participants acknowledge these risks and agree to proceed at their own risk.
7.3 The organiser, guides, and partners are not liable for injuries, accidents, or losses arising from the hike, unless caused by proven negligence.

8. Photography & Media

8.1 The organiser may take photos or videos during the event for promotional purposes.
8.2 Participants who do not wish to be photographed must inform the organiser before the event.

9. Agreement

By completing registration and making payment, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms & Conditions stated here.
